Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice is provided by AKDEN TURBO TEKNİK SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. as data controller under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The Turkish version is the authoritative text.

2. Personal data we process

Through the contact / quotation form, because you provide it: your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), the content of your enquiry and any vehicle or part details you choose to include (turbocharger number, vehicle chassis number / VIN).

Automatically: the IP address the enquiry was sent from and the time of submission. This is kept solely to prevent abuse (automated form attacks) and to resolve technical faults.

Cookies and analytics: this site uses no advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party analytics. There is no login or basket that would require cookies. For that reason no cookie consent banner is shown.

3. Purposes

To assess and answer your enquiry; to provide price and availability information and prepare quotations; to provide technical support; to run the order and supply process; to confirm that your enquiry is matched to the correct product (for example verifying the right turbocharger number from a vehicle chassis number); and to keep the website secure.

4. Legal basis

We process your data under Article 5 of the KVKK: because it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c); to comply with our legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç); and for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f). You provide the data yourself by completing the form.

5. How we collect it

Your data is collected electronically through the contact and quotation forms on this website, entirely from what you enter. Submissions are delivered to us by e-mail.

6. Sharing and international transfer

Your data is shared internally with the teams handling your enquiry. Where the commercial relationship requires it (for example sourcing a product from a manufacturer or supplier), only the necessary details may be shared with that supplier.

International transfer: this website and the e-mail infrastructure that delivers form submissions are hosted on servers outside Türkiye (United Kingdom and Germany). When you submit the form your data is therefore technically processed via those servers. This transfer happens solely so that your enquiry reaches us and can be answered; your data is not sold or passed to third parties for advertising or profiling.

7. Retention

We keep your data for as long as our commercial and legal obligations require (statutory limitation and retention periods), after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Technical records kept for abuse prevention are retained for shorter periods.

8. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request erasure or destruction; to request that correction or erasure be notified to third parties it was transferred to; to object to a result reached solely by automated analysis that is to your detriment; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
